Lesley Beatty brings nearly two decades of experience advancing climate and clean energy solutions, setting direction, defining priorities, and leading advocacy efforts that turn complex policy ideas into campaigns that can win and deliver real impact. She previously served as Vice President of Marketing at Citizens’ Climate Lobby and was the first marketing hire at Sunrun, helping build early momentum for the residential solar market. At ClimatePlan, Lesley sets direction and drives alignment across the network, translating shared priorities into coordinated action. Lesley holds an AB from Harvard College and an MBA from UC Berkeley, and lives with her family in the Bay Area.

Jeanie Ward-Waller, Policy Advisor

Jeanie Ward-Waller is a transportation and land use policy leader with deep experience advancing systems change across California. She previously served as Deputy Director at the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), where she oversaw a multi-billion-dollar portfolio spanning transit, rail, active transportation, and local infrastructure, and founded the agency’s Office of Race & Equity.Now serving as Director of Transportation Advocacy at Fearless Advocacy, Jeanie leads statewide policy, coalition, and legislative efforts to advance climate-aligned transportation solutions. She is known for building cross-sector partnerships and navigating complex negotiations across government, nonprofit, and private sector stakeholders.
