This webinar originally aired on July 19 2016; you can download the PowerPoint or watch:

Webinar agenda below.

Measuring progress, moving forward
This report assesses progress on the Southern California region’s first Regional Transportation Plan / Sustainable Communities Strategy. The report, featured on Streetsblog California, is presented by a dozen advocacy groups, led by ClimatePlan. (Download the report here)

The webinar presents the report’s findings — where is the region on track? where are the gaps? — along with detailed recommendations for success for the region’s latest plan.

We also discuss how to monitor progress on implementing Sustainable Communities Strategies beyond Southern California. These regional plans are a key component of achieving the state’s climate goals and create more equitable, healthier communities. But are they being implemented, and is anyone checking?
