Please save the date for a public consultation meeting on approaches for investing auction proceeds from California’s cap-and-trade program. Panelists will discuss how to most effectively invest these funds to support the goals of AB 32 (2006) to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, as well as encourage long-term transformation to improve public health and develop a clean energy economy. The public are invited to share ideas about what criteria and programs should be prioritized in the development of an investment plan.
